Power Off Immediately
Turn off your iPhone right away. Never charge it while wet—charging with residual moisture inside can cause a short circuit, so charging is absolutely off-limits.
Wipe Off the Water
Gently wipe the exterior with a soft cloth. Don't shake the phone to try to force water out—shaking can push water deeper toward the speaker.
Play the Water-Eject Sound

Why 165Hz Vibration Helps Eject Water
The water-eject sound vibrates the speaker to move droplets near the opening and help push them out. WaterKick uses 165Hz as its standard tone, but how well it works depends on the device model, the amount of water, and how it's trapped. Apple has not officially specified 165Hz as the drainage frequency for iPhone, and this is not a substitute for drying out the device internally or getting it professionally repaired.

About the Developer
WaterKick was created by an iOS engineer nicknamed "Mr. Water Eject," who dropped his iPhone in water three times and paid a total of ¥130,000 in repairs. He combined that painful experience with knowledge of acoustic engineering to build this personal product.
